U19 Boys National Team off to Cazova Championships!

The Cayman Islands U19 Boys National Youth Volleyball Team is preparing for an amazing adventure to the U19 CAZOVA Championships 2024, which will be held from July 26 to August 4 at GC Foster College in Jamaica. This event is a significant highlight in Cayman Youth Sports, providing our athletes with an invaluable opportunity to compete on an international stage.
The CAZOVA (Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association) Championships are a staple of the volleyball calendar, bringing together the top young athletes from the Caribbean to compete for regional honors. For the Cayman Islands team, this competition is both a huge challenge and an opportunity to showcase their abilities and dedication.

Coaching and Support Staff
The team is led by Head Coach Dr. Trevor Theroulde and Assistant Coach Jesper Barrozo, both of whom have extensive experience and competence in player training and development. Their strategic thoughts and motivational coaching have been critical in preparing the team for this momentous occasion. Dean Lynee, Team Manager and Youth Director of the Cayman Islands Volleyball Federation is in charge of the team's logistics and administration. His contribution to planning the team's activities and guaranteeing their readiness for competition has been invaluable.

Preparation and Training
The Cayman Islands U19 team has been practicing intensively for months, guided by their trainers. Their training has included rigorous practice sessions, strength and conditioning regimens, and countless friendly matches to polish their teamwork and strategic play. The team's dedication is shown in their better techniques, increased fitness, and strengthened friendships. Their hard work and commitment embody the spirit of Cayman Youth Sports.
